Technical Pressed Wool Felts

Our technical pressed felts are made to the highest standard containing between 50% to 100% wool (application dependant) with the balance normally being viscose.

Pressed wool felt is made by utilising the natural properties of wool to lock together when processed with water, steam, mechanical abrasion and drying.

Due to state of the art manufacturing processes and machinery within the BWF group we are able to offer materials that are traditionally difficult to manufacture to a high standard (eg low density wool felts).

We have stock available in a range of densities from 0.11gm/cm³ to 0.75gm/cm³ and thickness from 1mm to 100mm, in white, grey and black. Available in cut parts to individual customer requirements or sheets and rolls (from 1M to 1.8M wide).
